Muay Thai for Kids
Muay Thai, which means “Thai Boxing” when translated, is known as the “art of the 8 limbs” because it employs knees, elbows, punches, and kicks. It’s the National Sport of Thailand, but the entire world of combat sports has embraced this discipline because it is highly effective (and fun, too).
Group classes will help to teach your kids to trust their instincts, be confident in their body language, and constantly adapt to their surroundings. Muay Thai lessons do not teach your child to be aggressive; rather, it teaches them how to avoid threatening situations and neutralize them before they escalate into danger.

Muay Thai for Little Kids: (4 to 6 years old)
Muay Thai (Thai boxing) is an ancient martial art of Thailand, distinctive within the world of combat sports because of its wide arsenal of weapons (kicks, punches, elbows and knees). It’s a fun and diverse martial art that holds the interest of the youngest of kids, and at the same time teaches them very effective self-defense.
Unfortunately, childhood bullying is still a big problem in daycares, schools, peer groups and playgrounds in Florida. Arm your kids with the knowledge that will empower them to walk away from bullies, and to protect themselves if needed. You see, a child who is not prepared to deal with confrontations with bullies is more likely to be targeted, which is why we believe teaching children the valuable techniques of Muay Thai helps them stay confident and ready to neutralize any bullying.
In the children’s Muay Thai program (ages 4 to 6 years old), students will spend time learning martial arts in a playful way. From full-body strengthening exercises, mediation, to learning Muay Thai techniques, all training is designed to improve balance, coordination, speed, agility and mental readiness.
Muay Thai for Kids: (7 to 13 years old)
Muay Thai classes for kids from 7 to 13 years old also help children develop self-confidence because it gives them a new understanding of how they can control their body and manage themselves. Armed with the knowledge of how to protect themselves, your child will feel more confident in protecting themselves.
These skills stay with your children for life. They teach kids from 7 to 13 years old to think before every action, not act impulsively, and deal effectively with confrontation. In fact, one of the main messages we teach is to neutralize aggression and then seek help, not get into a fight.
